By accessing or using the GoneFinder Lost Property Registry System ("Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you disagree with any part of these terms, you may not access the Service.

GoneFinder provides a comprehensive registry system for documenting and searching lost or stolen property using various identification numbers including but not limited to:
- Serial numbers for electronics and equipment
- Vehicle Identification Numbers (VIN)
- International Mobile Equipment Identity (IMEI) numbers
- Model and product numbers
- Government-issued property identification codes
- Custom identification markers
The Service facilitates the recovery of lost property by maintaining a searchable database accessible to authorized users and law enforcement agencies.
3. User Registration and Accounts
3.1 Registration Requirements
To register items or access certain features, you must:
- Provide accurate, current, and complete information
- Maintain and promptly update your registration data
- Be at least 18 years of age or have parental consent
- Have the legal authority to register the property in question
- Accept responsibility for all activities under your account
3.2 Account Security
You are responsible for safeguarding your password and any activities or actions under your account. You must notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account or any other breach of security.
3.3 Account Termination

5. Property Registration Guidelines

By registering an item, you certify that you are the rightful owner or have explicit authorization from the owner to register the property. False claims of ownership may result in criminal prosecution.
5.2 Required Information
When registering property, you must provide:
- Accurate identification numbers (serial, VIN, IMEI, etc.)

- Valid contact information
- Date and location information as applicable
- Police report number (if filing a stolen property report)
5.3 Law Enforcement Cooperation

8. Disclaimers and Limitations of Liability

You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless GoneFinder Registry Services and its affiliates, officers, directors, employees, and agents from any claims, liabilities, damages, judgments, awards, losses, costs, expenses, or fees arising out of or relating to your violation of these Terms or your use of the Service.
10. Law Enforcement and Legal Compliance
10.1 Cooperation with Authorities
We cooperate fully with law enforcement agencies and may disclose user information when required by law or in response to valid legal process.
10.2 Reporting Obligations
Users may be legally required to report certain stolen property to law enforcement. The Service does not replace or fulfill any legal obligation to file police reports.
10.3 International Use
Users accessing the Service from outside the United States do so at their own risk and are responsible for compliance with local laws.
11. Modifications to Terms
